Ultrasound bookings can be made for the procedure to take place between 28-38 days post mating.
​
​
Microchip Bookings will be made for whole litters of puppies or kittens to be microchipped between 6-8 weeks of age and that are still currently kept with the breeder.
​
All puppies or kittens must have a name or a different coloured collar on to make them distinguishable.
​
Once puppies or kittens have been microchipped and registered, it will then be the responsibility of the breeder to transfer the keepership of the microchip to the new owner via the Petlog website. I will supply the breeder with information on how to do this if unsure.
​
The law states that any puppies must be microchipped by the breeder, and registered to the breeder by 8 weeks old and before the puppy goes to its new home. The Microchipping of Dogs (England) regulations 2015 no 108
It is also to come in to effect that it will be compulsory for all cats to be microchipped by 10th June 2024
For Kittens owners will be required to microchip their cats by the time they reach 20 weeks of age.

Thank you for visiting us, my name is Sam.

I have been actively involved with cat rescue and care for the last 10 years. 9 years ago I set up my own self-funded rescue and rehome shelter. I have grown up with many pets around me and have a love of cats in particular.
With the rescue has come many cats without microchips. After some time of not being able to trace owners, they have then been placed up for adoption. This in turn made me realise there was a need for more awareness, convenience and affordability of microchips to enable the safe return of pets. In October 2014 I qualified as a microchip implanter for Dogs, Cats & Small Animals.

Some of the cats that have arrived over time have been in a less than adequate state causing them distress and discomfort, to brush a cat sometimes is simply not enough. I decided late 2015 that it was time to start studying again and opened my cat grooming salon in February 2016 I officially received a Level 3 Diploma in Cat Grooming & Health in September 2016.
​
No this is not enough for me, the requests for pet pregnancy ultrasound scanning started flooding in so again more study and as of November 2016 I qualified as a Level 1 Pet Ultrasound Sonographer.
​
Again at the request of several customers, I hit the books and gained my Diploma's in Dog Grooming and Feline Behaviour & Psychology in November 2017.

Finally I called it a day with studying, successfully completing my Dog Grooming Diploma also in November 2017 with a Distinction! Go little me!
