Ultrasound bookings can be made for the procedure to take place ideally between 28-38 days post mating.

Microchip Bookings​
All puppies or kittens must have a name or a different coloured collar on to make them distinguishable if we are implanting a litter.
We will require an approximate age or date of birth of all pets
​
Once pets have been microchipped and registered, it will then become the responsibility of the breeder to keep their pets details up to date or transfer the keepership of the microchip to the new owner via the Petlog website. We will supply the owner/breeder with information on how to do this if unsure.
​
The law states that any puppies must be microchipped by the breeder, and registered to the breeder by 8 weeks old and before the puppy goes to its new home. The Microchipping of Dogs (England) regulations 2015 no 108
It has also now to come in to effect that is compulsory for all cats to be microchipped by 10th June 2024
For Kittens, owners will be required to microchip their cats by the time they reach 20 weeks of age.

ABOUT US
Thank you for visiting Purrfect World. We are Sam & Charli, a small family run team who have been caring for your pets, their health and welfare since 2013. Read below to hear about our journey from where we started to the present day.

Back in 2013 Sam opened a small self-funded rescue and rehome shelter for cats and kittens. Charli helped with maintaining hygiene, cleanliness of the shelter alongside Sam, together they successfully cared and rehomed just under 300 kitties before unfortunately due to affordability having to close.
​
Whilst running the shelter many cats that we rescued were unable to be reunited with owners due to not having a microchip. Realising this. it became clear there was a need for more awareness, convenience and affordable microchips to enable the safe return of pets. So in October 2014 Sam qualified as a microchip implanter for Dogs, Cats & Small Animals.
Some of the cats that arrived over time were in a less than adequate state, causing them distress and discomfort, to brush a cat sometimes is simply not enough. Sam decided late 2015 that it was time to start studying again, in September 2016 she gained her Level 3 Diploma in Cat Grooming & Health.
After opening a small salon promoting cat grooming & microchipping, the requests for pet pregnancy ultrasound scanning started increasing, so again Sam hit the books and in November 2016 became a qualified Level 1 Pet Ultrasound Sonographer.

While engaging with more dogs, having conversations with owners about her services, then came the requests for Sam to groom their dogs.
Alongside her studies of dog grooming, she trained in Feline Behaviour & Psychology. passing both qualifications in November 2017 with a distinction.

In April 2024 Sam's daughter Charli joined the business. This was no surprise as Charli had grown up with the rescue shelter and frequently taken an interest in mums business, accompanying her to Ultrasound, Microchipping appointments and helping in the grooming salon.
Charli set to work and by June 2024 had already qualified as a microchip implanter for Cats, Dogs and Small Animals.

Caring for animals comes naturally to Charli, so she decided to offer her Pet sitting services to people who work, or need care for their animals to enable them to go on holiday without the stress and worries of finding care or putting their animals in kennels. Kennels especially for rescue animals can sometimes have a huge impact on their emotional states causing them to revert back from the progress they have made.
She alongside her bookings and being a full time mum, is also due to start her Level 2 Dog Grooming course in October 2024.
